Forever21 is the new victim of data loss

Data loss issue is heated up now and more and more corporate companies are announcing theft of data. The latest addition to the list is the clothing chain Forever21. This company announced theft of credit card details of about 98,000 customers who shopped on specific months. The company has requested the public who shopped on March, June, July 2004 and August 2007 to monitor their account activities.

This case is related to another data theft case where the details of about 40 million customers were stolen. This has created a major threat to shoppers because you cannot imagine yourself losing money just for shopping in a store using your credit card.
